Brent is Calgary born and Calgary raised through and through. He started skiing when he was 3 and lived at the Paskapoo ski area (now Canada Olympic Park).
Long time employee of his family owned and operated Brooker Ski and Sport House, Brent has over 30 years of ski tuning under his belt.
As for bikes, he started mountain biking in the late 80’s and quickly found a passion for the sport. That passion took him on a mountain biking pilgrimage to Moab, Utah in the 90's.
Brent is more than willing to answer your ski and bike questions ... and if you're heading to the golf course he might give you a hand with your swing as well.
Thom hails from the booming metropolis of Millarville, Alberta and commutes on his bike daily.
Ok, not really, but he is often found west of the city on a bike or a pair of skis. With a few bike tours across Western Canada and the Western States, he’s a wealth of information regarding cycle touring and “bikepacking”.
Thom’s gravitation toward biking and skiing was fostered by a childhood on the eastern slopes of Alberta’s Rockies. He did in fact grow up in Millarville before moving to Victoria, BC where he started pursuing any sport on two wheels.
He is know a local Parkdale resident and excited about the prospects of growing the bike community in Calgary.
